Membership at SGPA is open and any one is welcome to apply. We are a private neighborhood pool association operating as a 501(c) 7 organization. Use of the facilities is limited to our members and their guests. The pool is open from 7:00AM to 10:30PM daily expect for routine maintenance, construction and private member events.
Our members-only format allows us to enforce the rules that help maintain a safe, secure and friendly environment that generations of members have enjoyed for over 75 years. Members need a reliable cell phone to receive text messages from the association and to unlock gates accessing the pool.
Membership terms are for 6 months at a time (Jan 1 to June 30 and July 1 to December 31). Initial memberships are prorated. The cost of a 6-month membership is $240. There is a refundable deposit of $300 and a non-refundable application fee of $100 when your membership is approved.
Candidates for membership must complete an application and submit it to the association board for approval. The board reserves the right to approve or reject any candidate.
Unfortunately, our pool and grounds are not ADA compliant and this should be taken into consideration when requesting membership. Members and guests use the pool at their own risk as the association does not provide lifeguards.

- Before completing an application, candidates will need the reference of 2 members that are not from the same family.
- Email the completed application to southgroveparkassociation@gmail.com.
- Once approved by the board, membership is not final until all financial obligations have been met.
- Activation for phones will be done once all required forms have been completed.
